Mission

At Pets at Peace, we specialize in in-home hospice care and euthanasia for terminally ill pets across southeastern North Carolina. We understand firsthand the challenges of navigating end-of-life care, and we're dedicated to providing comfort and assistance every step of the way.

Our ultimate goal is to minimize pain and suffering as your pet's journey nears its end, ensuring that your final moments together are filled with love and dignity. When the time comes to bid farewell, our heartfelt wish is for your cherished companion to pass peacefully, surrounded by the warmth of your love, and blessed with serenity.

About Us

At College Road Animal Hospital, Gina met Ashton, a friend who sparked her interest in veterinary social work. Together, they brainstormed ways to provide veterinary practices access to a social worker, leading Gina to obtain a Veterinary Human Support Certificate from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville. This certification expanded her knowledge of veterinary social work and equipped her with invaluable tools to excel in veterinary medicine. Gina played a pivotal role in bringing a full-time veterinary social worker to Eastern Carolina Veterinary Referral and co-teaches a veterinary social work elective at UNCW.
